Dr. Treible received his PhD from the College of Engineering at the University of Delaware in 2021, and his BS in Computer Science from Millersville University in 2013. His primary research during graduate school involved machine learning, computer vision algorithms targeting thermal imagery, fusing multi-modal sensors for detecting hidden targets, automatic tracking for quantifying interactions and scene dynamics in humans, animals, and cells, 3D reconstruction with multiple imaging modalities, and robust biological image segmentation and analysis. During this time, he worked closely with experts across multiple scientific disciplines and published work on machine learning, 3D registration, virtual reality visualization, and semantic and instance segmentation. At VSI, he is currently working on machine learning for remote sensing analytics.
